Its spelling is different in different areas, when you go to the boatwomen, and she tells you where you can go, she says Des Sturme, when you tell her the destination, you tell her you want to go to Die Sturme. Also the signs seem to say different things inside des/die sturme, just holding your cursor over the sign will display Die Sturme, while examining it, will display des strume ect ect. Im not sure if its Die or Des Sturme >.> I guess I could just call it the dragon isle.

I'm not much for languages but it sounded a little german to me... if it's not i'll be embarased ebcause i used to live there .... X.x ... not that i learned any german really.... but i thought des and die was just boh diffrent tenses of the or something ...
